About
Hi.
I’m Patrick.
I live in Japan. On Kyushu. In Fukuoka Prefecture, Chikushino City.
I used to write this blog. I don’t now.
Not by choice of course. I could write about jiu-jitsu till the cows come home.
BTW, the expression “till the cows come home” is an idiom meaning “for a long but definite time” and made it’s debue in print in the year 1829 – why I added this bit of trivia to my “about” page I’ll never really understand, just felt like it is all.
Anyway, my right knee has been injured thrice, thus keeping me out of training jiu-jitsu which in turn keeps me from writing about jiu-jitsu. No one really wants to read a jiu-jitsu blog where the writer can’t even practice jiu-jitsu. It’s like reading a cooking blog where the writer can’t bring him/herself to even venture into the kitchen.
Wait… that metaphor isn’t quite what I wanted.
This blog is to occupy my time while I mend and tend to my injuries, satisfy my creative writing needs and share my other life interests on the great big conscious connector we call the internet.
Enjoy.
